our tiny 2 bed/1 bath home

We have a tiny house that was built back in the 50s.

2 bedroom, 1 bath, under 1000 square ft. 3 people and 2 big dogs! It was OK when our daughter was little but now she is a teenager and having another bathroom is crucial. We always wanted to renovate our house as soon as we moved in back in 2007 but I was just a dog walker and my husband is a teacher... so you know. After living here for over a decade, this property's value went up so much. So we started planning our kitchen remodel & decided to turn our garage into a new bedroom. Planning started in 2021, and it actually started happening in June/2022. Nothing has been going as smoothly as we thought/hoped for. We are living in a mess since then.

But it's at least moving! Slowly but surely. We don't have a full kitchen since June 2022 and it's been rough but I can't wait to finally finish and have the kitchen of my dream (I had to compromise a lot but still)! We had an unbelievably ugly orange 70s countertop with swirl which I found the exact same one at my local diner.

Whatever happens, it will be 100 times better!
